We stayed four nights in the park, and had a great time in our favorite camp ground, despite one wash-out day. The Falls Trail is definitely the best hiking trail (in any PA park), with 21 beautiful waterfalls along the 7+ mile hike.<\/p>\n<p>The trip was also filled with plenty of wildlife sightings, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>deer<\/li>\n<li>turtle (laying eggs!)<\/li>\n<li>snakes<\/li>\n<li>bald eagles<\/li>\n<li>black bear (roaming our camp site)<\/li>\n<li>frogs\/toads<\/li>\n<li>butterflies<\/li>\n<li>chipmunks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Yikes! SNAKE!\" rel=\"lightbox[pics132]\" href=\"http:\/\/www.maceras.xpozd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/ricketts_glen_dsc4978.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-149 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maceras.xpozd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/ricketts_glen_dsc4978.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Yikes!
